How Did We Get Here
I am Greek, which could be a nice addition to the website. The extra-virgin olive oil used in my tallow comes from the island of Crete. My father owns an orchard there, where our family tends to the trees, harvests the olives, and produces the oil, which is then shipped to the USA.
I craft tallow lotion by hand in my kitchen, using only the finest organic and natural ingredients. In an industry often shrouded in a lack of transparency about harmful chemicals, my mission is to bring awareness and promote healthier alternatives through my skincare line. I’ll be sending you a few photos of my products soon. While the labels are accurate, please note that all of them are housed in elegant amber jars.
My tallow is handmade
Our products are preservative-free, so they may change consistency with temperature fluctuations. If your tallow arrives hard or frozen, place it in a warm area to reach room temperature. It may appear grainy after temperature changes, but it will smooth out when applied to your skin.
Let me explain the process of making tallow lotion. First, the tallow is rendered at controlled temperatures and then allowed to cool. Next, we add either lavender essential oil or a premium vanilla bean infusion for fragrance. Finally, the mixture is whipped until it achieves a light, fluffy texture and then poured into jars for storage. This describes the role of the two ingredients mentioned.
